Born and raised on the beautiful island of Maui, our floral designer, Ruby has always enjoyed the vibrant colors and sweet fragrance of Hawaii's exotic tropical flowers. Stringing leis as a young child, she recalls harvesting the pikake, koa seed or plumeria from her family's garden and the "aloha" of making and presenting a lei to a loved one or friend.

Her earliest design experiences involved caring for and arranging the colorful tropical blooms harvested from her family's lush gardens in Central and Upcountry Maui. Anthuriums, heleconia, ginger, palms, ferns, orchids and bird of paradise grew in profusion. A designer's paradise! 

She now shares her love of Hawai'i, tropical flowers and the lei tradition here in Washington.  Servicing the greater Seattle and King County areas ....and beyond!
