Sometimes the old traditions are still the best traditions. The Hawaiian tradition of giving a lei flourishes to this day and continues to be a very hearfelt and meaningful gift. Nothing says "Aloha" like a Hawaiian lei. A lei says "I'm thinking about you" and "I care about you". It is a personal expression of love, honor, kindness and appreciation.
When is a lei given?
Any occasion! In fact, in Hawaii, it is common to be seen wearing a lei. If for no other reason than to enjoy it's beauty and fragrance. We offer the following suggestions to you:

How is a lei worn?
Placed over the head and neck and worn on the shoulders. Head leis are worn on the crown of the head and tied at back. Open leis also grace the shoulders and are worn open in front.
Fragrance
We offer plumeria, tuberose and pikake (special order). Each fragrance is unique. Inhaling their scent sends one quickly back to the islands! These flowers are more delicate in nature and care must be taken in their handling.
Color and Design
Our flower leis can be made in a variety of vibrant colors and styles. Contact us for questions and availability.
Length
Standard lei length is 36-38 inches for closed leis. Open style leis can be made longer. Haku head leis are 23" long.
Lei life:
Depending on your care for them and the type of flower used, lei life can be from 1-6 days.
Storage:
Leis vary in their moisture and temperature requirements. We will be happy to tell you the optimal storage conditions for your lei.
